Wow! I can't believe my last journal entry was almost 2 1/2 years ago (the last one WAS pretty hard). I'm going to make an big effort to be active on here again. I've got so many picture I need to upload, I've got Copic markers that need to be put to use, and I've finally got my Wacom working.
A lot has gone on since my last journal. Three week after I lost Taz I adopted a 5 month old kitty named London.. She's such a joy to me. She's a combination of Pudy and Taz rolled into one (personality and markings) and I call her my little 'Catnip Baby'. (Pictures to come.)
I've gotten REALLY into Doctor Who. Like, full on Whovian.

I sit here heavy hearted, eyes filled with tears. Sunday morning, my Taz started acting odd. She walked around slowly with her head down, not eating or drinking unless I held it up to her. We took her to the vet Monday morning for lab work and IV hydration. She stayed overnight. I called the vet at 10 this morning for her results. The vet said 'she's not looking too good right now. She's not very responsive, she is in renal failure, and has diabetes. She could pass away'. I told her my mother was going to come pick her up, I'd give her one more night at home, then bring her back tomorrow morning...
Taz passed away a little before noon today.
